Are blueberries and strawberries poisonous to dogs and cats?

Blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are safe treats in small amounts. Wild and garden berries are different: many, like yew, holly and mistletoe, are poisonous.

What to do
No action is needed for shop-bought berries. If you are not sure what berry it was, call your vet.
